Brianna Yang

I’m Brianna, a current undergraduate college student! I have dedicated my childhood to tech-related opportunities (ex. Techbridge, CodeNext, etc.) and have continued to foster this fascination through a variety of communities and workshops. This interest has also been fostered by a constant love of video games, with a focus on games by indie developers. A current favorite of mine is Plate Up, however, I have also enjoyed I Was a Teenage Exorcist, Splatoon 2, Sun Haven, and more.

Recently, I have branched out my interests into including debate by joining my college’s Speech and Debate team. I aspire to pursue law, yet I cannot imagine a world where I’m not a part of the gaming or enthusiastic coding community. Hence my leadership position at Maven Youth! I aspire to uplift voices, confidence, and most of all: witness the creativity of others.

In my free time, I enjoy reading a large variety of stories, from webtoons, young adult novels, visual novels, and shows. I enjoy the shows Peanuts and Young Sheldon. My favorite part about stories is always the characters. I love watching character dynamics and growth, as well as their choices being key to the plot. I’m excited to witness and help many aspiring game developers bring their story to life. Delighted to be a part of the Maven Youth team!
