2026 Camp Leadership Experience
Take your leadership to the next level. All of our programs are championed by young people who want to develop their leadership skills, try new roles, and experience Maven Youth from a whole new perspective. If you've been a part of our camps in the past, you can apply to join a supportive team of your peers as we put on life-changing summer camps for a new generation - from SF to NYC!
As a Youth Leader, you can expect:
Training
All leaders will be provided workshops, which will ensure you have the skills, strategies, and bonds to feel confident in your leadership role.
Travel
Our camps are hosted in San Francisco, Austin, and New York, with more locations in the works! Leaders may have the opportunity to lead camps far away from their home town or city.
Compensation
All travel, lodging, and food costs are covered while you're with us. In addition, we believe in supporting our leaders for their amazing efforts through stipends and other rewards.

Leadership Position (18+)
Staff In Training
The Staff In Training role at our summer youth tech camp offers hands-on experience in leadership, tech, and camp management. You'll be trained to work alongside camp leaders and tech professionals, gaining valuable skills in supporting youth campers and running camp activities. This is the perfect opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive summer experience!
Leadership Position (15-19 yrs)
Youth Camp Leader
As a Camp Youth Leader, you will take on the responsibility of leading and training campers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the camp experience.
You will work directly with queer youth, fostering a safe and inclusive environment while helping them build skills in tech and leadership.

Maven Youth has made it our mission to remain an inclusive, diverse, and safe environment for LGBTQIA+ Youth. We will continue to speak out against those who try to take away our rights. As we are engaged in a Four-Year Fight for Queer Youth, we anticipate that all of our programs will naturally be impacted by this shift.
