In Marlo's Words

Before Maven Youth I had very limited [exposure] to LGBTQ+ Spaces. Maven Youth was a turning point in my own journey as I was able to meet queer professionals and for the first time got a glimpse into what my adult life could be. My first Maven Youth camp taught me more than coding and tech skills. [Maven Youth] taught me my own identity was not an obstacle in my way but a unique strength.

Marlo is passionate for LGBTQ+ advocacy. They will pursue a degree in Media and Communications at The University of Sussex. They will use their experience and education to “enact change in the global community”.
